What you'll be doing
- The staff nurse renders professional nursing care utilizing the standards of care and the standards of professional performance outlined by the society of pediatric nurses and the American nurses association. The candidate provides quality home health care services to infants, children, young adults, and families. The care provided will be coordinated, comprehensive, and family centered to meet the physical, psychosocial, emotional, and spiritual needs of children and families. The professional nurse delivers competent nursing care based on a documented assessment of the patient/family needs and the agency mission. The incumbent promotes a customer service oriented environment and acts as a change agent to meet rapidly changing needs of the customer and the agency.
What your background should be
- Ohio RN licensure, 1 to 2 years of hospital experience, customer service and communication skills required. 1 to 2 years of pediatric experience, pals, and chemo certification and computer skills preferred.
Required Schooling / Training
- BSN degree
