What you'll be doing

Work with a collaborative team-oriented/partnering approach based on building consensus and collaboration. Work with business and technology colleagues to understand and jointly evolve opportunities for innovation. Participate in theoretical and practical debates maintaining objectivity, is open to new ideas, and has a flexible and innovative spirit. Create and execute proof of concept/proof of technology initiatives in the data technology space. Properly document requirements to transition successful POC/POT to operations and DevOps teams. Research and champion new data technologies to help drive innovation.

What your background should be

Minimum 5+ years of equivalent work experience. Familiarity and interest in broad data technology trends both general and specific. Career path focus in big data, analytics, etc. Experience in planning and executing proof of technology (POT) and proof of concept (POC) initiatives. Ability to prepare comprehensive technical documentation and scoring. Able to train internal partners during transition of POCs to DevOps or operations groups.

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or equivalent.
