What you'll be doing

Provide strategic communications expertise and support to government clients. Assist the client with developing communication strategies for the analytic workforce and providing strategic communications consultative services in support of improving workforce communications. Coordinate and synchronize various communications forums and collaboration tools to ensure clear, concise, and consistent messages and provide the client with expertise in stakeholder analysis and communication needs management. Apply knowledge of communication needs of internal and external stakeholders, interfacing with segmented audiences, assessing the effectiveness of communication plans and deliverables, and providing feedback to client leadership. Facilitate fact finding and evaluate and analyze results of communications effectiveness, including surveys, pulsing, interviews, outreach and engagement sessions, and focus groups. Research state-of-the-art and best practices in strategic communications, assist with the development of communication ideas, vehicles, and mechanisms, and provide assistance in implementing and supporting communications events for client leadership.

What your background should be

7+ years of experience in a professional work environment. Experience with building and executing strategic communications plans and outreach and engagement plans and assessing the effectiveness of communication plans and deliverables. Experience with the preparation and delivery of briefings, training, and educational materials using a variety of media. Experience with strategy or management consulting. Experience with data gathering and problem analysis and resolution. Knowledge of DoD and the intelligence community and their relationship with clients. Knowledge of geospatial-intelligence, imagery analysis, and geospatial analysis. Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills.
