Summer School Coordinator

What you'll be doing: Plan, implement and monitor a site summer school program under the supervision of the principal or designee. Submit a projected budget prior to the beginning of the summer session. Coordinate and communicate regularly with the principal, teachers, support personnel and others involved in providing summer school programs. Develop a marketing program in conjunction with the principal and if necessary, conduct surveys of students and parents. Select summer school program personnel; submit paperwork for all employees working in the summer programs. Assess needs, order and distribute supplies, materials and equipment for the summer school session. Monitor summer school programs/classes for content and student behavior. Supervise essential skills testing and report results. Serve as substitute as needed. Assist with breakfast and lunch supervision. Evaluate instructors and summer school program; include in final report and make suggestions for improvement. Monitor student evaluations/grades. Address student and parent issues during summer school sessions; inform or refer to site administrator. Attend meetings as scheduled. Provides summer program summary report and final budget. Perform other duties as requested by the site administrator.

What your background should be: Provide proof of immunity to rubella (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization. Valid Principal, Supervisor or superintendent certificate. Valid Arizona teaching certificate. Current Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card.
