Summer School Teacher, High School Mathematics

What you'll be doing: Plan, monitor and adjust, teach a summer school course under the supervision and evaluation of the site coordinator/lead teacher. Provide written instructional lesson plans, following the company core curriculum, for the assigned summer school course. Communicate with parents/guardians concerning student academic progress and student behavior. Assist students in the process to drop a class prior to the site deadline. Compute student course grade and submit to the site coordinator/lead teacher. Perform all duties associated with administering the company pre and post tests. Keep an accurate attendance record and grade records to submit to the site coordinator/lead teacher at any time. Attend each day or provide a substitute to cover a teachers absence from summer school classroom. Provide a scheduled instructional time in the summer school classroom for evaluation. Attend all scheduled faculty meetings called by the site coordinator/lead teacher. Obtain all books, supplies and materials requests through the site coordinator/lead teacher. Monitor/assist with breakfast, lunch or hallway supervision as assigned.

What your background should be: Previous success assisting students overcome academic barriers. Valid Arizona secondary certificate with math approved area. Current Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card.
