What you'll be doing
- The incumbent works with the chief, operations division. In this capacity serves as technical advisor and consultant to the district engineer concerning emergencies both regional and national federally declared disasters for the Memphis district (MVM), O&M programs, works related activities, and manages a large, complex geographically dispersed organization and works other programs. Programs involves O&M for flood control, navigation, water supply, regulatory activities and preservation of biological and natural resources on all USACE constructed water resource projects within the MVM boundaries. Works under the direct supervision of the chief operations division, who provides general direction and responsibilities for the incumbent and estimate performance appraisal. Assists in planning and coordinating the work of the operations division. In the absence of the chief, incumbent is delegated full authority to approve or disapprove the entire range of personnel actions and organizational change proposals for the division. Assists in managing and directing the largest program (O&M).

- The applicant should have experience in related field. Knowledge of project management principles. Ability to supervise. Knowledge of personnel management.
