Support Planning & Management Engineer

What you'll be doing: The successful engineer will serve as the customer support maintenance tooling, ground support equipment (GSE), and maintenance facilities focal for all production commercial airplane models. Resolve tooling requirements issues to support (GSE) maintenance and ground operations for all commercial out of production airplane models. Identify airline customer requirements for ground support equipment. Analyze airplane configuration changes to provide direction for special tooling designs. Develop customized maintenance reports to meet the specific needs of individual airline customers using the ground support equipment on-aircraft tool system (GOATS) database. Serve as a maintenance evaluation team member or team leader specializing in out of production airplane tooling, GSE, and maintenance facilities procedures and best practices. Serve as a mentor and instructor to ensure technical personnel are eventually qualified to perform the above tasks.

What your background should be: The candidate should have experience in related field. Advanced, expert knowledge of ground support equipment requirements and airplane maintenance in job specific areas (ATAs and shops), and general knowledge of all areas.
