Systems Analyst

What you'll be doing: Support search based applications built on solr/lucene. Gather requirements for new projects/initiatives. Manage project documentation and scheduling. Act as a liaison between technical teams and be responsible for providing functional and technical analysis and design for multiple projects. Input into functional design, requirements, systems analysis, and customer expectations, and support for various projects and production systems. Support search based applications and internal search platform, respond to customer requests, interact with customers on deployments/releases and generate appropriate documentation.

What your background should be: 3-5 years of experience working in a corporate environment. Basic knowledge of Linux operating system. Experience working as a part of a distributed team. Experience using JIRA, confluence. Experience working with search engines (solr/lucene). Familiarity with Python/Bash scripting. Familiarity with Java programming. The position requires IT experience in working in highly matrixes teams, customer expectation management. Demonstrated ability to write clear requirements for a mixed business and technical audience. Prior experience working closely with application developers.
