What you'll be doing
- Clean tank containers and road trucks internally and externally. Clean valve and other spare parts of tank container. Carry out tank inspection or survey, general maintenance work such as equipment cleaning, cleaning up and painting station. Scrape and scrub walls, using detergents, solvents, scrapers and brush to remove incrustations, scale or deposit of coke or catalyst. May test gas content of tanks. Assist lead tank cleaner, supervisor or manager in any other tank cleaning work. Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
What your background should be
- Minimum of 1 year experience in tank container industry with focus on tank washing preferred. Ability to promote teamwork, be a self-starter and work with minimal supervision.
Required Schooling / Training
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
