What you'll be doing
- The incumbent will assist the site principal or other assigned supervisor in implementing and/or coordinating an identified program. He/she will create, design and deliver professional learning to support the implementation of the common core state standards in ELA/Literacy and Math. Support teachers in the implementation of the scope and sequence, unit plans and lesson plans that incorporate the following: integrate reading, writing, speaking, listening, and language in daily instruction; in accountable communities, create, deliver and score a culminating task; anchor instruction in appropriately complex text, talk, and task, address differentiation and scaffolding.
What your background should be
- Three years of classroom teaching experience at the appropriate level required. Valid California teaching credential authorizing instruction at the appropriate level required.
Required Schooling / Training
- Bachelor degree.
