Team Leader/Manager, Mobile Development

What you'll be doing: The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing the design and development of new and next generation applications (Web and Mobile technologies) that will improve customer shopping experience in new cutting edge technology innovation department. The responsible individual for this position will lead mobile development teams, define projects and features, coordinate scope, schedules and deploy new feature sets. Build processes, release schedules and run SCRUM meetings (Sprint Planning, Daily Standup Huddles and Sprint Reviews/Retrospectives). The individual will direct report management responsibilities of small mobile development team. Assist team with story point estimation and attend SCRUM of SCRUM meetings, reporting team status. Follow up on escalated production issues and manage defect and technical debt backlogs. Ensure team compliances with technical standards for architecture/design and code reviews.

What your background should be: 5+ years of people management experience and strong experience with multi-tiered application architectures are required. Applicant is asked having hands on experience with J2EE/JAVA, Servlets, JSP, HTML and experience with struts and spring development frameworks. Deep understanding of how to build applications that integrate using web services via REST/SOAP/API. 3+ years of focus on mobile application development technologies and environments for android, IOS desired. Solid understanding of social media and experience with AGILE development methodologies and concepts are expected.
