What you'll be doing

Assists in the preparation and treatment of termite-infested buildings. Carries lumber, building materials and tools to worksite. Removes debris from treatment sites before spraying. Assists in the application of chemicals. Cleans worksites after completion of job. May install insulation by lining and covering structures with insulating materials. May gather and transport supplies, prepare area, and work with insulation. Assists other workers in treatment or extermination processes to eliminate or control rodents, insects, or weeds. Assists in maintaining equipment in a safe, operating condition.

What your background should be

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to perform simple addition and subtraction and reading and copy, and/or count and record figures. Ability to carry out simple one or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with occasional or no variables in or from these situations encountered on the job.

Required Schooling / Training

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
