What you'll be doing
- Technical Evangelist is responsible for driving app development on Windows 8, Windows Phone 8 and Windows Azure in their local geography. Defining and creating technical assets such as reference apps, starter kits and patterns and practices guidance for use at in person events and online. Delivering impactful technical content at events and through online channels. Engaging the student, startup and professional developer communities in person and online. Developing relationships with community leaders and influencers. Participate in developer events and engage the community through startup weekends, meetups, user groups.
What your background should be
- Expertise in development for Windows through HTML5/JS, C#/XAML and/or development on other mobile platforms such as iOS/Android. Game development experience is also desired, but not required. Ability to communicate concepts and code in a concise and instructive manner in writing and as a technical presenter. Minimum 2 years of experience writing code with apps in store.
Required Schooling / Training
- Bachelor or master degree in computer science.
