What you'll be doing

Support the development, execution and maintenance of the commercial risk information security program and risk management framework. Support product directors and business partners by providing subject matter expertise and guidance for all technical and information security matters within the commercial bank. Assist managers institutionalize operational, enterprise and regulatory risk management programs. Collaborate with key partners across the organization to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and reliability of information assets and business systems used by the commercial bank, by ensuring sufficient controls are defined, implemented, and tested. Provide industry knowledge and expertise in information security, program management and regulatory compliance. Assist managers institutionalize operational, enterprise and regulatory risk management programs, including. Managing non-compliance and exceptions to policy (ETP) and review and input and review for oprisk center. Support first line of defense by continuously assessing and improving risk management practices. Information security controls in the acquisition, development, and delivery of automated business systems. Provide risk assessment and assurance for information security and technology, including new product planning involving system or security components and critical control functions for third party suppliers.

What your background should be

3-5 years experience in information security or/and IT risk. CISSP, CISA, CRISC, or CISM certified is strongly preferred. Excellent analytical skills. Excellent writing and verbal skills. Advanced knowledge of MS Word. Advanced knowledge of MS Excel/PowerPoint. In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements and risk management principles. In-depth knowledge of financial services industry. Leadership accountabilities: implementation and delivery of business plans and targets. Plan, allocate and organize team resources to meet the business plan. Set expectations of customer service excellence delivery and ensure all department SLAs are met and/or exceeded. Identify and manage risk, minimizing the outcome and escalating where appropriate. Plan and implement activities that will enable a highly motivated and highly performing team to deliver team objectives fostering an environment of cooperation and change. Oversee the new hire orientation process for new team members. Create, plan and implement activities that will support the development of team members. Ensure team meets agreed service levels. Coach and develop staff.
