Technical Specialist

What you'll be doing: Work alongside support, product development, quality assurance, product management, and program management to ensure customer success with elemental cloud-based workflows. Collaborate with product development and management on improvements to minimize customer escalations. Develop subject matter expertise around cloud technologies and become a resource for internal teams. Work closely with cross-functional teams to create documentation of customer implementations and solutions for internal and external consumption. Create documentation and provide internal training around servicing of the elemental cloud platform and customer workflows. Manage technical resolution of problem management efforts.

What your background should be: Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or similar Infrastructure as a Service. Experience with network design or troubleshooting of network issues for cloud-based solutions. A solid understanding of scripting languages (Ruby, Perl or Python), REST APIs, and standard Linux command line utilities. Excellent communication, documentation and issue resolution skills. An ability to work in cross-functional teams. Extra credit includes experience with: Cloud-based video processing services or an online video provider. Designing and supporting PaaS architectures and operations, SQL databases. High availability cloud storage solutions.

Required Schooling / Training: BS degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or similar program.
