What you'll be doing

Manage the creation and implementation of technical staff training programs to support the operation of the waste vitrification facilities at the hanford waste treatment and immobilization plant. Maintain the process for the analysis, design, development, implementation, administration and evaluation of nuclear training and/or procedures programs. Administer a training and/or procedures change process to determine impact of a change on training and/or procedures programs and make necessary changes to programs. Participate in team decision making regarding training and/or procedures programs. Perform other training and/or procedures related tasks as required to support the project mission. Interface with customers, report progress, identify and perform improvement initiatives. Develop and maintain budget and schedule. Supervise the analysis of project systems and processes for creation of procedures and training materials. This includes the reading and interpretation of piping and instrument drawings, process flow documents, vendor manuals, system and design drawings.

What your background should be

6+ years of experience in the identification of training and/or procedures needs and training and/or procedures in subject areas that relate to operations, plant systems and processes in the nuclear industry.

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor degree in a technical field or demonstrated equivalent.
