What you'll be doing

Cooling airflow and thermal development and vehicle level sign off of forward model vehicle application. Upfront system engineering using analytical tool to support various cooling and thermal deliverable. Develop cooling and thermal system solution set that are energy efficient and meet program target for cost and function. Analyze vehicle performance capability engine torque, transmission gear selection final drive ratios and provide sensitivity studies. Vehicle sign off include test preparation, test coordination, data analysis and presentation of data. Interface with design and release engineer and program management to resolve system issue. Occasionally, responsible for signing off on cooling and thermal related current product change and cost reduction action.

What your background should be

Experience in relevant field is required. Knowledgeable in product development process in automotive or similar industry. Proficient in MS office products. Ability to interface and communicate effectively. Analytical skills to identify, diagnose, and resolve issues. Brief knowledge about thermodynamics, aerodynamics, fluid dynamics, computational fluid dynamics. Knowledge of cooling hardware heat exchangers, fans, flow circuit.

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor degree in engineering.
