Technology Manager

What you'll be doing: Communicates and manages expectations of their team from a planning, monitoring, and reviewing job results. This includes mentoring and disciplining employees where required. Participates in recruiting activities within the UE LoB by interviewing, orienting, and training employees; while developing personal growth opportunities. Contributes to the organizations effectiveness and efficiency by helping define, deliver and support strategic plans surrounding technologies related to their LoB. Directs technological research and asset generation based upon the organizational goals and objectives as well as trends seen out in the project space. Delivers projects and builds strategic relationships at key client accounts to drive new business streams. Facilitates internal project postmortems by conducting sessions where lessons learnt are documented. Recommends UE LoB strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organizational outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements. Ensures quality in service delivery by establishing and enforcing organization standards. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops.

What your background should be: Preferred 8-10 years of experience in enterprise architecture, systems integration, package implementation, and/or interactive design, and architecture experience. Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively client accounts and multi-track teams. Proven mentoring and coaching abilities to ensure effective growth plans of teams. Ability to understand critical issues and bring appropriate resolution to cross-industry, complex issues. Ability to drive complex estimates that take one or more projects into account and to effectively communicate risks and dependencies to client.
