What you'll be doing

Purpose of this position is to assist the director of publications, communication and branding with marketing activities. Essential function of this position is to assist with some marketing research, copy writing and execution of marketing tasks. Writing some communications, executing some social networking and coordinating events along with some administrative functions such as researching and developing mailing lists, searching the web for information and tracking activities. Marginal or incidental functions. Other related functions as assigned.

What your background should be

Experience in marketing or advertising and some marketing research. Experience in copy writing, social networking and event coordination. Must have strong administrative skills, such as researching and database management. Good writing skills. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate. Undergraduate degree and 2 years of experience in marketing or advertising is preferred.
