What you'll be doing
- Provides Speech/Language/Cognitive/Oral-Pharyngeal functioning evaluations; develops, coordinates and executes effective speech/language pathology services; and makes appropriate referrals and coordinates care. You will provide direct patient care to individuals of all ages (neonatal to geriatric) as their expertise and caseload demands. Coordinates and provides patient/family education. Participates in educational programs and performs non-patient care responsibilities as assigned. Participates in program development and in the Performance Improvement program. Consults and coordinates with interdisciplinary team in providing comprehensive treatment.
What your background should be
- 1-2 years' hospital experience preferred. Current temporary or permanent NC license issued by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for SLPs and Audiologists. CFY candidates and candidates with no hospital experience will be considered.
