What you'll be doing
- Perform all responsibilities to configure, manage, and support enterprise backup environment running on tivoli storage management platform. Perform all responsibilities to configure, manage, support the mckesson clinicals/CPOE/HMM environment running on RHEL Linux Platform and VMWARE virtual environment. Supervise Linux administrator(s) and their activities. Implement, maintain, support and audit the DR replication strategy for all UNIX systems meeting the disaster plan recovery time objectives and recovery point objectives. Perform duties of change management program and source code control for all unix based systems including lawson financials, mckesson HCR/HCI, mckesson PHS, EGATE interface engine and any other unix systems that operate.
What your background should be
- Maintain confidentiality of patient, employee, and institutional data per confidentiality agreement. Must be familiar with shell and kernel level programming. Evaluates system specification, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.
