Value Improvement Specialist

What you'll be doing: Work with the company's business partners to find ways to use the existing IS pricing applications in a more effective manner. Evaluate current business practices versus best practice and increase usage of best practice. Work closely with business users, IS business partners and other IS functions to pursue value added activities to optimize and improve the existing processes and applications. Investigate ways to increase the company's ROI from the current tools. Be proficient in the use of the company's BI tools and how they can facilitate evidence base management decisions for the business. Support the adoption and rollout of Vendavo profit analyzer and price manager. Assist with testing, training and rollout of deal manager. Be a change agent for new technologies. Create, promote and facilitate user support groups in the pricing, deal and offer arena. Work with the business to prioritize small projects. Act as project managers for some small projects and ensure that these projects are completed on time and in budget and deliver the expected functionality and quality to achieve the requirements.

What your background should be: A minimum 3 years of relevant work experience or in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience. Strong business process knowledge in the area of pricing. Knowledge of SAP pricing or Vendavo is a plus. Six Sigma Green belt or Black belt is a plus. Must have the ability and willingness to travel globally.
