What you'll be doing
- Develop and execute strategies to investigate, consider and implement medical group mergers and acquisition as new lines of business and diversification platforms for concerned company. Perform evaluations; identify specific business launch approaches, financial and capital analysis. Complete annual budgets including the development and implementation of plans to achieve budgetary goals. Provide support related to contracting, network development, medical economics, quality, finance and other areas. Monitor resource utilization within the medical group and enact plans to improve efficiencies and reduce expenses. Use, protect and disclose concern company patient protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with health insurance portability and accountability act (HIPAA) standards. Perform other duties as assigned.
What your background should be
- Minimum ten years of experience in practice administration in executive leadership, healthcare administration, mergers and acquisitions activities or related field. Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Analytically oriented with the ability to communicate complex financial matters in a concise, professional manner.
Required Schooling / Training
- Bachelor degree required and master degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field preferred.
