What you'll be doing
- The role focuses on managing, developing, and implementing an integrated training strategy. Participate in executing a multi year strategic training program focused on skills development across operations. Partner with aligned management teams in markets operations to identify and prioritize skill development needs, determine project parameters, and ensure quality solutions. Partner with aligned risk & controls management team to implement agreed training priorities. Assist in the deployment and ongoing management of skills academy a one stop, front door to integrated skill-based curriculum by role. Collaborate with a team of global training professionals including peer learning partners in other regions and a shared services group made up of internal and external resources. i.e. e-learning, PMO, training delivery and training administration. Lead the design and ongoing management for one or more skill-based curricula within the operations training strategy. Conduct training evaluation to identify program impact, return of investment, and areas of improvement. Facilitate management skills classes, working with management & professional development specialists in the team to ensure best in class delivery of high impact programs.
What your background should be
- Minimum of 7 years of training and development experience. Background in financial services. Solid communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of leadership. Ability to build partnerships/relationships with key stakeholders. Ability to quickly assess and accommodate shifts in the business environment and related needs and priorities. Experience in performing needs assessments to identify skill gaps and determine the right solution. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast moving environment. Project management experience desired. Proven ability to execute in ambiguous situations. Consulting and influencing skills. Drive for quality and results. Leadership and strategic thinking. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Problem solving skills.
