What you'll be doing

The video editor/audio production specialist will act as online or offline producer/editor, utilizing postproduction processes to produce final versions of videotape programs, assets, or edit decision lists and record audio assets required for the company multimedia productions in corporate event, production studios and location environments. Operate postproduction systems and audio-specific hardware. Plan the postproduction activities of specific projects. Assist in organization and maintenance of videotape library systems. Communicate with system problems and needs. Work with graphics department to determine needs and delivery of graphic materials necessary for productions. Perform other duties as assigned.

What your background should be

Minimum 2 years of experience in video editing and postproduction device operation with avid & computer based editors and switchers. Experience with the corporate database and library systems. Demonstrate knowledge of creative editing techniques using computer-assisted postproduction devices and motion graphics. Technical skill in the operation of various audio hardware and processing systems (including digital multi track recording and mixing, microphone technique, audio signal routing).

Required Schooling / Training

High school diploma or GED required. Associate degree in related field or equivalent strongly preferred.
