VMware Administrator

What you'll be doing: Provide day to day technical support and working with the engineering team in developing and implementing global standards. Work with certification and engineering team to review OS standards and provide feedback on operational status of new technologies. This candidate is responsible of project coordination and work with the colleagues in Singapore. Ability to ensure coordination/integration with storage, network, & database systems specialists and clients serve as an escalation point for technical issues on the project. Troubleshoot technology issues, using various internal and external resources. Participate in post mortem process for problems as appropriate.

What your background should be: Experience supporting VMWARE infrastructure in a large enterprise environment. Experience configuring Linux & Windows guests in a VMware ESX environment. Expertise in developing automated scripts for monitoring or analyzing the operation of infrastructure (PowerCLI, shell/bash, PERL) preferred.
