Warehouse Associate

What you'll be doing: The warehouse associate is responsible for all aspects of warehouse upkeep and order fulfillment. To fulfill all functions of the job, multiple computer programs are used. A successful warehouse associate will be comfortable using computers and learning new types of software. Follow detailed and defined instructions, and complete tasks by following pre-established procedures while ensuring a safe work environment. Maintain proficiency and strive toward continuous improvements in processes and techniques. This position work in warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones and standard warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, box cutters and tape dispensers.

What your background should be: The candidate must able to identify and distinguish item numbers. Trouble shoots to determine cause of errors in inventory. Ability to analyze and help with other functions in the warehouse. Must be comfortable with computer use. Use hand scanner to track inventory. Coordinate with supervisors and team to facilitate processes. Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods of time and mandatory overtime is required. Type quickly without looking at keyboard at least 30+ wpm is preferred.
