What you'll be doing

Maintains computerized inventory establishing a par level for food and supply items. Inventory reports to be generated and submitted to director on a monthly basis. Generates food orders on a monthly basis to meet federal program requirements. Generates inventory reports on a bi-annual basis to meet federal program requirements. Submits a daily/weekly written schedule for the warehouse personnel including delivery schedule, receiving, and inventory management/monitoring. Oversees maintenance of kitchen equipment and provides a schedule of work orders as needed to director. Responsible for a weekly written report identifying inventory levels (for each site), timelines for shorted product, work orders, and scheduled maintenance. Responsible for working with food vendors and distributers for truck delivery/ordering time lines. Maintains invoices and purchase orders on a monthly basis as needed. Maintains the cleanliness and order of the warehouse. Follows all southwest district health food safety procedures/processes. Submits to director a monthly site monitoring review. Investigates and analyzes food service software problems at sites and warehouse computer systems. Provides general technical assistance, support and troubleshooting of nutrition services computer programs. Performs routine, day to day food service software maintenance as assigned. Implements and trains kitchen staff in warehouse inventory and ordering system. Maintains a high level of customer service. Works closely with all warehouse personnel.

What your background should be

Valid Idaho motor vehicle license; qualify for insurability by the districts insurance carrier. Ability to operate a fork lift, and to work with all district staff members, vendors while providing quality level of customer service. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure; using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute, rate, ratio, and percent; draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to calculate figures; amounts such as discounts, interest, and commissions proportions, percentages, area circumference, and volume. Ability to apply basic algebra and geometry concepts.

Required Schooling / Training

High school diploma or general education degree
