What you'll be doing

The incumbent will ensure that applications are compatible across multiple computing platforms and browsers. It is the accountability of the Web Developer to develop proof-of-concepts and prototypes of easy to navigate user interfaces (UI) that consist of Web pages with graphics, icons and color schemes that are visually appealing. The position holder will design and develop primarily Internet/Web pages and applications such as e-commerce and content-driven Web sites. The person will develop competence by executing structured work assignments, and solve complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions. Furthermore, this individual will code, test, debug, document and implement Web applications using a variety of languages and platforms.
