What you'll be doing

Demonstrate emotional intelligence and interpersonal relationship skills in day-to-day work, decision-making, and problem solving. Suggest and carry out procedures to assure the highest standards of risk and hazard management, prevention; and participant and employee safety, reporting all issues to the sports director. Team player that can relate positively to all staff, volunteers and participants. Observe participant and fan behavior and respond verbally to health and safety concerns and to deal appropriately with any improper behavior. Organize and manage sport set up, clean up and participate in activities necessary to deliver a quality sports experience. Serve as a good example in personal language, appearance and health habits. Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with the supervisor, department head. Prepare routine administrative paperwork including timesheet and assigned human resources forms. Follow and enforce all established company rules and regulations. Adjust and operate all sports equipment as applicable including but not limited to baskets, goals, scoreboards, sound systems and any other operation that will contribute to the success of the sports game and league. Assist in promoting company programs and services including world service, united way, partner campaign and related events.

What your background should be

Minimum 1 year of experience working with school age children preferred. Fundamental knowledge of specific sport rules and regulations. Must be at least 16 years old.

Required Schooling / Training

High school or college level preferred.
